Ross Thompson serves as Managing Director of Investments at BMC Investments, where he is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and executing investment opportunities, as well as contributing to the firm’s overall investment strategy.

Prior to joining BMC, Mr. Thompson spent five years at Stockbridge Capital, a $37 billion real estate investment management firm focused on acquiring, developing, and managing assets across major property types throughout the United States. Most recently serving as Senior Vice President, he led acquisition efforts across Western U.S. markets spanning multiple sectors and risk profiles.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Thompson held investment roles at Makena Capital and Cypress Real Estate Advisors. In these positions, he focused on sourcing, structuring, negotiating, and managing value-add and opportunistic real estate equity and debt investments across the United States, Latin America, and Europe.

Mr. Thompson earned a Bachelor of Science from Vanderbilt University and received his MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
